Basic Travel Requirements for Filipinos visiting Spain

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Spanish Visa.


  • A Schengen visa application form should be filled completely with all sincerity.
  • Two recent passport photographs with a white background (35mm x 45mm).
  • Passport with at least 2 blank pages which is valid for a minimum of 3 months beyond the return date.
  • A cover letter by the applicant stating the purpose of visit to Spain and itinerary. 
  • Prove of civil status. (marriage certificate, birth certificate, birth certificate of children, etc)
  • Original bank account statement with bank stamp and authorized signatory of the bank for the last 3 months.
  • Schengen Travel insurance confirmation of a minimum of 30,000 Euros coverage within Spain. 
  • Determine the type of visa you are applying for.
  • If invited, a letter of invitation from your host should be provided.
