Denmark Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This business visa is for foreign nationals visiting Denmark to carry out business activities.
  • During your time in the country, you can meet up with business partners to negotiate and sign contracts.
  • Trade fairs, conferences, and business summits can be attended by holders of this visa.
  • A letter of invitation from the company you are meeting up with should be provided. 
  • The purpose and duration of your visit should be stated in the letter.
  • If the company you are meeting with will be responsible for your expenses while you are in the country, it should be stated in the letter.
  • Your employer should provide a letter stating that he/she is aware of your business leave.
  • The purpose of your visit to the country, the duration, and the purpose of your visit should be clearly stated.

  • The original certified copy of their memorandum and article of association certificate, trade license, proprietorship/partnership document should be submitted.

  • Holders of this visa are not permitted to seek public funds or work with a business visa.
  • To work in Denmark, you must have a Denmark work visa and a work permit that allows foreign nationals to work in the country.

Denmark Medical Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is for applicants who seek medical assistance/services in Denmark.
  • This visa is valid for 90 days and you are to leave Denmark on or before its expiration.
  • If your treatment is going to last longer than 90 days, you are advised to apply for a national visa.
  • Persons who would like to accompany sick applicants are also eligible for this visa.
  • You are to possess a passport issued within the last ten years and should have a minimum validity of 6 months from the date of travel.
  • Two recent passport photographs not older than 3 months should be submitted.
  • A medical report from your doctor in Qatar is to be provided and should state why the treatment cannot be received/administered in Qatar.

  • Applicants round trip reservation that shows entry and exit from Denmark should be submitted.
  • Payment receipt of medical fees should be tendered during the visa application process.
  • Minors must ensure they possess the original copy of their birth certificate.
  • If they are traveling with one of their parents, a document of consent which is signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
  • You are not allowed to work while you are in the country.
  • At the end of your treatment, you are expected to leave the country.
  • Holders are not allowed to take up permanent residence in the country.

Denmark Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa type is for Qatar visa applicants who wish to travel to Denmark to study in an academic institution.
  • The study visa permits its holder to remain in Denmark for a duration of 3 months.
  • Before you apply for the student visa, you must have received an admission offer to study in Denmark from a Danish educational institution.
  • If an applicant's study would exceed 3 months, the applicant should apply for a long-stay study visa.
  • Applicants are to submit a valid passport with a validity of not less than 6 months from the proposed date of travel.
  • A copy of the passport's biometric data should be submitted.
  • Applicants are to submit their previous passports together with the current one if any.
  • You must have been accepted to study in one of the institutions in the country before this visa is issued to you.
  • A letter of acceptance written with the official letterhead of the school you have been accepted into is required.
  • Certificates and transcripts from previously attended schools should be provided.
  • A copy of your stay permit should be provided for non-citizens of Qatar.
  • Foreign students may work in Denmark part-time when school is in session and full-time when the school is on break.

  • Persons who want to travel to Denmark for tourism, sightseeing, relaxation, and recreational purposes are eligible to apply for this tourist visa.
  • The tourist visa is the same as the visitor visa. Persons intending to visit friends and relatives in the country can do so using this visa.
  • Since Denmark is one of the Schengen countries, the Danish tourist visa allows its holder to visit other countries in the Schengen Area.
  • Foreigners traveling to the country to visit friends and relatives should ensure that they have a letter of invitation from the host. The home address and telephone number of the host should be clearly stated in the letter of invitation.

  • Overstaying the duration of your visa or attempting to use this visa to obtain a long-term residence will result in you being handed a penalty period of between 3 - 5 years.
