How to get a Hungary visa from Qatar

• The tourist visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Hungary for tourist purposes.
• The passport must contain the signature or the fingerprint of the applicant and must have 2 free passport pages for the visa stamp.
• For non-Qatari nationals, the passport must contain residence permits in the State of Qatar valid for at least 90 days from the required visa expiration date.
• One visa application form must be accurately completed.
• 1 recent clear and colored passport-size photograph, with a white or grey background, must be attached to the visa application form.
• If the applicant has been issued a new visa within the last 3 years, the original copy of the previous passport must be provided.
• Hotel reservations or invitation letter showing proof of accommodation in Hungary for the entire duration of the stay.
• The hotel reservations must clearly show the name and contact details of the hotel.
• A tour itinerary of the planned trip showing the schedule of activities places the applicant plan to visit and how long the applicant intends to stay in Hungary should be submitted.
• Letter of invitation from the host in Hungary stating the relationship with the applicant, duration of stay and purpose of the visit is required.
• The letter must indicate if the applicant will be financially sponsored by the host and be accommodated by the host in Hungary.
• Holders of tourist visas are not to partake in any business activity take up any study in Hungary.

• The business visa is issued of foreigners visiting Hungary for business purposes such as attending business meetings, conferences, seminars, negotiating and signing business contracts with other business partners or companies in Hungary.
• An invitation letter from the host's company in Hungary clearly stating the contact information and address of the company.
• The invitation letter must indicate the type of business to be carried out in Hungary, the purpose of visit and duration of stay in Hungary.
• An approval letter from the applicant’s employer in Qatar stating awareness of the business travel.
• If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided
• A business bank statement for the last 6 months is required.
• Salary slip of the last three months from the employer duly stamped and signed by an authorized person
• Income tax return acknowledgment for the last two assessment years.
• Certificate of registration in the case of the self-employed duly signed and stamped by an authorized person
• Travel medical insurance must be valid for the whole duration of stay in Hungary is required.
  
• Regarding the applicant’s expenses during stay in Hungary, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation.

The Hungarian visa and entry regulations are only applicable for a stay not exceeding 90 days within a 180 days period.
