Basic Travel Requirements for Qataris visiting Spain
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Spanish Visa.
- Completed application form, duly signed by the applicant.
- Parents/legal guardians must sign the application of minors.
- The passport or official travel document should be valid for at least three months longer than the validity of the visa applied for.
- The passport must have been issued within the last ten years with at least 2 blank pages.
- A recent color passport photo with white background, passport size (45 mm x 35 mm), and taken against a light background.
- Photocopy of the applicant's biographical data and Qatar visa passport pages.
- Photocopy the applicant's medical insurance covering all costs that could arise as a result of emergency medical assistance, emergency hospitalization or medical repatriation.
- The insurance should cover costs of at least EUR 30,000 and be valid for the duration of the stay in Spain
- Photocopy (full page) of your ticket booking and travel itinerary.
- Documents certifying the availability of accommodation in Spain such as hotel reservations are required.
- Personal bank statement original up to date(stamp from the bank)for the last six months.
- Non-Qatari national must have Qatar Residency/ ID Card.
- Parental authorization signed by parents authorizing the minor to travel (with or without parents).
- All documents should be presented in English or with a legalized Spanish translation.

Spain Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The original passport must be valid for three months beyond the date the applicant plans to leave Spain.
- The passport should also have at least one blank page, in order to affix the visa sticker in it.
- Flight booking showing proof of the dates when the applicant plan to travel to Spain and then leave the country.
- Travel insurance must cover the whole territory of Spain and any incident or unforeseen illness with a minimum of 30.000€, including repatriation for medical reasons or in case of death.
- Bank account statements showing proof of sufficient funds for the whole duration of stay in Spain.
- A letter of support, if someone else is going to finance the applicant's trip. They should submit their bank statements alongside with the letter.
- Evidence of accommodation in Spain such as hotel booking that contains the applicant's name, the dates of stay and the details of the hotel.
- The letter should include your host’s details (address, contact details, and intended period of stay.)
Spain Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Spain business visa application form must be correctly filled and signed by the applicant.
- Two passport photographs must be identical and no older than three months.
- The applicant's passport must be valid for three months more after the date the applicant plan to depart to Spain.
- Applicants are required to submit copies of passport pages, visa stickers and stamps on them.
- Flight Booking, with the applicant's name, as well as the dates and places of arrival and departure in it.
- Work certificate, which mentions the applicant's s position, salary, and date of starting the post.
- Letter of invitation from the company in Spain written in Spanish, in which it states the business relation that justifies the applicant's trip. It should also include the purpose of the trip and the duration of the stay in Spain.
- Spain Travel Health Insurance, covering any incident or unforeseen illness with a minimum of 30.000€, that occur in Spain.
- Original bank account statements the applicant has 71€ for every day of the planned stay in Spain.
- A letter of support, if the inviting company is going to finance the applicant's trip. They should submit their bank statements alongside with the letter.
- Hotel booking, which contains the applicant's name, the dates of stay, and the details of the hotel.
- Proof of civil status (marriage certificate, birth certificate of children, death certificate of spouse, ration card if applicable).
