Basic Travel Requirements for Rwandans visiting Bahamas

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bahamian Visa.


  • Completely filled and signed visa application form.
  • Original passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel. It must have 2 blank pages for visa stamps.
  • 2 passport sized photographs not older than 6 months and meets the visa photo specifications.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose and duration of trip.
  • Copy of travel itinerary showing details of your trip to and from the Bahamas.
  • Return or onward journey ticket.
  • Proof of accommodation in Bahamas.
  • An invitation letter if visiting friends and relatives in the country.

The Bahamas is a country which is located along the Atlantic Ocean. The country is made up of over 700 islands and 2400 cays, some of which are uninhabited while some others are packed with resorts. The Bahamas is known for its waterways which makes it an ideal destination for scuba diving, snorkeling, water sports, kayaking, deep-sea fishing, kiteboarding, and wild dolphin excursions.
