Basic Travel Requirements for Rwandans visiting Bahamas

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bahamian Visa.

  • Completely filled and signed visa application form.
  • Original passport valid for at least 6 months on date of travel. It must have 2 blank pages for visa stamps.
  • 2 passport sized photographs not older than 6 months and meets the visa photo specifications.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose and duration of trip.

The Bahamas is a country which is located along the Atlantic Ocean. The country is made up of over 700 islands and 2400 cays, some of which are uninhabited while some others are packed with resorts. Bahamas Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Bahamas visitor visa is suitable for Rwandans travelling to Armenia for various purposes which include tourism, visitation, business or other short term stay.
  • With this visa, you can visit loved ones, attend to business, summits and conferences.
  • An invitation letter detailing the purpose, duration and the party financially responsible for the trip is required from the inviting party in the Bahamas. 
  • A valid means of identification of the host should accompany the invitation letter.
  • For business, the invitation letter is to be written on the inviting company's letter head. 
  • Relevant documents showing the inviting company's registration status in the Bahamas is also important. 
  • Documentation validating previous interactions with the inviting company in the Bahamas is necessary.
  • You cannot work in the Bahamas unless you have a special skill that isn't possessed by a citizen.
  • A cover letter from your employer in Rwanda stating awareness and allowance of your trip as well as any financial responsibility is also required.
  • You're required to show proof of funds in the form of financial statements. This is to show that you can spend at least $100 daily while in the Bahamas.
  • This visa has a single entry stay of up to 30 days and a multiple entry stay of 60 days which can be extended for up to a year.
  • The visa is usually processed in 2-7 days.
  • The single entry visa costs £100 while the multiple entry is £110.
  • Upon arriving in The Islands of The Bahamas, everyone must fill out and sign an Immigration form and keep a portion of the card until departure.
  • You are expected to leave the Bahamas before the expiration of your visa.
  • When leaving the Bahamas you must pay a departure tax of $15.
