Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Italian Visa.
- Correct application form duly filled out
- Valid passport

- Travel insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000
- Round-trip flight reservations or a complete travel itinerary
- Hotel reservation or proof of accommodation
- Letter of no objection from employer

Italy Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa type if for Egyptians who are going to Italy for sightseeing and tourism purposes
- You will provide evidence that shows you have enough money to support yourself throughout your stay in Italy.
- You also need to provide bank certification, bank books, Personal bank statements, credit card statements or balance covering the last six months.
- If another person will be financially sponsoring your trip to Italy, they are to provide an affidavit of support
- You are to provide a detailed day-to-day plan of your entire stay in Italy
- A letter of invitation from your relative/friend living in Italy, officially inviting you to visit him or her and proof of your relationship with them
- If you will be traveling with a minor, you will need;
- A valid birth certificate
- A complete application form which must have been signed by both parents
- A family court order in cases where only one parent has full custody over the child.
- Certified copies of the ID/passport of both parents of that minor
- If the minor will be traveling alone with another person: An original and copy of the accompanying person’s passport page containing the holder’s data and expiry date, a recent photograph and valid visa copy. A notarized parental authorization to travel to Italy, signed by both parents/guardians
- When applying at the Italian embassy/consulate in Rwanda, the guardian or parent should accompany the minor
- The visa fee for children between the ages of 0 and 6 is FREE while children between the ages of 6 and 12 are to pay 35 EURO
Italy Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- No objection letter from the educational institution where you are currently enrolled (if applicable).
- Internship agreement signed between the company in Italy, the establishment of origin and the trainee.
- An original and legible photocopy of acceptance of enrollment by the Italian School of Institution, stating clearly the duration of the course.
- Dichiarazione di Valore (Declaration of Value) of the applicant’s educational certificates duly legalized by the Consular office of this Consulate General. The local Institution or School should advise this Consulate directly in case it is not required.
Italy Medical Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- A local medical report issued from a doctor /clinic/hospital in your home country, confirming that you need medical treatment in Italy.
- A medical attestation from the hospital or doctor in Italy, confirming the date of your appointment as well as your medical situation. It should also confirm that the hospital can perform the specific medical treatment and that you will be accepted accordingly.
- Proof of financial arrangement made.
- Official confirmation of the treatment/appointment by the receiving medical institution (hospital/clinic) in Italy
Italy Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Covering letter from the Italian inviting company. The letter should indicate your name and designation, travel dates, itinerary, duration of stay, details on trip’s sponsor, the purpose of visit, and signed by an authorized person. Registration Certificate of the inviting company.
- A letter from your employer stating why you will be traveling to Italy, Proof of trip financing.
- Regarding the applicant’s expenses during their stay in Italy, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation
