Basic Travel Requirements for Rwandans visiting Malaysia

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Malaysian Visa.


  • A valid visa application form that has been sincerely filled.
  • An original passport valid for at least 6 months after the stated departure date.
  • Two recent colored photos (3.5 cm x 3.5 cm).
  • Original vaccination certificates from a certified health organization in Rwanda.
  • Medical insurance that covers the applicant's duration of stay.
  • A bank statement dating back to the last 3 months and an Income Tax Revenue document.
  • A detailed flight itinerary.
  • Proof of accommodation in the form of a hotel reservation or any other form.
  • A birth certificate (in case of a minor).
  • No Objection Certificate or a letter of consent from both parents (for minors).     
  • A return or onward ticket.
