Basic Travel Requirements for Rwandans visiting Romania

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Romanian Visa.


  • An appropriately filled and signed visa application form.
  • A passport valid for the entire period to be spent in Romania. 
  • Passport biodata page and the page showing the date of entry at the Romanian border.
  • A bank statement that reflects the applicant's  financial stability
  • Two recent 3 x 4 cm coloured passport-sized photographs.
  • Vaccination certificates.
  • Applicant's medical insurance for the duration of stay. 
  • Proof of accommodation provision for the applicant
  • Proof of financial resources for the duration of stay. 
  • A bank statement that proves your means of living for1 year (minimum of 2500 USD or its equivalent)
