Saint Lucia is an island nation which is a top destination for tourists due to its tropical weather and wonderful scenery. Saint Lucia Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreign citizens planning to travel to Saint Lucia to study or participate in any type of training.
  • A completed student visa form of Saint Lucia should be submitted at least two weeks prior to your travel date.
  • Two passport-sized photographs are required with your completed form.
  • You are required to present a letter from the school, college or university in which you have been accepted to study. The letter should be written on the school's letterhead and signed by the head of the school.
  • Student travelers must demonstrate they have enough funds to sustain themselves throughout the entire period of their study in Saint Lucia.
  • If you plan to work while studying, you are required to obtain a work permit. It is safe to start the process at least two months before your intended date of travel as you cannot work without the permit.
  • To obtain a work permit, you need to fill a "Form A" document from the Department of Labour Relations. This form can be obtained by someone in Saint Lucia on your behalf and then mailed to you.
  • Return ticket to your country of origin must be submitted alongside your completed visa application form.
  • Travelers are advised to be vaccinated against hepatitis A and typhoid fever before their travel as there is a risk of these diseases in Saint Lucia.
  • A police record and certified copies of educational qualifications are required to be sent alongside the "Form A".

Saint Lucia Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Saint Lucia business visa is granted to foreign citizens whose purpose of travelling to Saint Lucia is solely to conduct business or other commercial activities.
  • A valid passport with at least two unused pages remaining is needed. The passport must be valid for up to six months after the applicant's intended departure date.
  • A job offer letter is required if you have received an offer from a Saint Lucian organization.
  • A duly completed business visa application form for Saint Lucia should be submitted at least two weeks prior to your travel date.
  • Travelers are to ensure they secure travel insurance for Saint Lucia with full coverage of their stay.
  • If you are travelling in a group, details of this must be presented during the application.

  • The Saint Lucia tourist visa is issued to foreign citizens planning to visit the country for tourism or leisure.
  • The tourist visa is also issued to individuals planning to visit friends or relatives residing in Saint Lucia.
  • A fully completed visa application form for Saint Lucia should be submitted at least two weeks prior to your departure date.
  • This visa can be extended, but you will need to start the application for an extension at least 7 days before your visa expires.
  • The Saint Lucia tourist visa can be issued on either a single or multiple entry basis.
  • The duration you intend to spend and how often you plan to visit Saint Lucia should inform you of the type of visa you are to obtain -- whether the single entry or the multiple entry visa.
