Basic Travel Requirements for Senegaleses visiting Saudi Arabia

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Saudi Arabian Visa.

  • The applicant must have a passport with a validity of at least six (6) months and acceptable for entry into Saudi Arabia.
  • The passport should have at least two empty visa pages adjacent to each other.
  • Each applicant must submit one (1) recent passport size colour photograph with a white background. 
  • The photograph must be a full-face view in which the visa applicant is facing the camera directly. Side or angled views are NOT accepted.
  • A completed application form filled-out with black ink or printed. The form must be signed and stamped by the authorized travel agency.
  • The applicant must be in possession of a non-refundable round trip ticket with confirmed reservations.
  • The applicant must submit proof of vaccination for meningitis. 
  • For infants and children up to fifteen (15) years of age, a vaccination report is required for polio as well as meningitis.  The seasonal (or common) flu, which should be taken two weeks before applying for the visa.
  • Children under the age of seven (7) do not need to pay.
  • Non-Senegal citizens should submit a copy of their legal residence status in Senegal. 
  • Passport authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reserve the right to return (at his or her own expense) any pilgrim who has provided wrong or false information about their residence in the US at his or her expense.
  • No minor (under 18 years of age) will be granted a Saudi Arabia visa if not accompanied by family. 
  • Minors travelling with one parent must submit a notarized letter of authorization, in either in Arabic or English, signed by both parents or legal guardians.
  • If the applicant has converted to Islam, an Islamic certificate must be presented; this needs to be notarized by an Islamic Center.
  • Travellers must carry vaccination certificates with them for inspection by the Saudi Authority at the port of entry.
  • No food products are allowed into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • All applicants must leave the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia immediately after the required duration of stay. The rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia forbid any applicant from staying in the country after the expiration of the Saudi visa.
  • Obtain a veterinary health certificate which must indicate that the accompanying pet has been vaccinated against all possible diseases and is in good health.
  • The health certificate must be authenticated and certified by the State Department Authentication Division.

Saudi Arabia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The passport must be acceptable to enter both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the applicant's next destination.
  • One (1) recent passport size colour photograph with a white background. Photograph(s) must be full-face shots in which the applicant is facing the camera directly.

  • A completed application form filled-out with CAPITAL LETTERS, and with a black ink pen or printed.
  • A reference note showing the number and the date of the visa issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required.
  • For non-Senegal citizens, a copy of documented proof of legal residence in Senegal is required.
  • Minors (under 18 years of age) travelling alone or with one parent must submit a notarized letter of authorization, in either in Arabic or English, signed by both parents or legal guardians.
  • Visitors should not overstay the time granted by the visa.
  • Visitors to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia must abide by the country’s Islamic laws and regulations and respect the society’s values and traditions.
  • The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s laws against drug trafficking is strictly enforced. 
  • Violators are subject to severe punishment, which may include the death penalty.

Saudi Arabia Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Business visas are issued to businessmen, investors, representatives of Senegalese companies, managers, sales managers and sales representatives.
  • A passport valid for at least six (6) months, with at least two (2) clear visa pages adjacent to each other.
  • One (1) recent passport photograph with a white background is required.
  • A completed and signed visa application form is required.
  • A letter addressed to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Senegal by the applicant’s employer in Senegal, which confirms the applicant’s position and that the applicant has been sent on a business visit related to the company.
  • An invitation letter from the host company in Saudi Arabia is required.
  • The letter must state the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of stay in Saudi Arabia.
  • If the host company or sending company will be financially responsible for the applicant, it must be clearly stated in the letters required. 
  • A copy of the company’s business registration, in Saudi Arabia, and in Senegal.
  • For non-Senegal citizens, a copy of the residence permit in Senegal is to be submitted by the applicant.
  • Minors (under 18 years of age) travelling alone or with one parent must submit a notarized letter of authorization, in either in Arabic or English, signed by both parents or legal guardians.

Saudi Arabia Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A passport valid for at least twelve (12) months, with at least two (2) clear visa pages adjacent to each other.
  • One (1) recent passport photograph with a white background.
  • A correctly, completely and signed Saudi visa application form is required.
  • A reference note showing the number and the date of the student visa issued from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is required.
  • The applicant’s original birth certificate plus one (1) copy.
  • The applicant’s original High School Diploma plus one (1) copy. The copy must be authenticated by the Saudi Cultural Mission.
  • Three (3) copies of our medical report, along with three (3) passport size color pictures with a white background. 
  • The medical report must be issued by a licensed physician who must sign each copy and certify that the applicant is free of any contagious disease. 
  • The license number and address of the physician should appear on each copy. Medical reports must be used within three (3) months from the date of issuance. 
  • Children under the age of sixteen (16) do not need a medical report.
  • A recent police report, with detailed information about the applicant’s criminal record, if any.
  • Approval to travel from the applicant’s government.
  • For married students wishing to take along their spouses or their children, proof of kinship: for a spouse, a copy of the marriage certificate; for a child, a copy of the birth certificate.
  • Minors under 18 years traveling alone or must submit a notarized letter either in Arabic or English, and must be signed by both parents or legal guardians.
