Cameroon Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Cameroonian tourist visa is available to Singaporeans traveling to Cameroon for tourism and visitation purposes.
- An International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever is required.
- A flight ticket or reservation with the passenger(s) name showing entry and return dates must be provided.
- A letter of invitation or a certificate of accommodation by your host legalized by competent local Cameroonian administrative authority must be provided. The letter of invitation should serve as a guarantee for the accommodation of the applicant and/or the care of the applicant during his stay.
- Foreign travelers are required to be fingerprinted on arrival. Admission will be refused to those travelers that refuse to comply.
- Proof of means of subsistence must be provided. This must come in form of a signed copy of a bank statement indicating a minimum sum of 3000 dollars. However, Cameroonians of origin who have completed the declaration in honor form are exempted from presenting this document.
- A copy of marriage certificate or declaration of common-law union (for persons who are married or in legal cohabitation) must be provided.
- Parental authorization for children (ages 0 to 14 ) signed in front of a notary or a commissioner of oath / legalized by administrative authorities, if done in Cameroon is required.
- While there are no official restrictions, travelers are required to make a declaration when they are exiting with XAF 3,000,000 or more.
- Cameroon's military authorities restrict access to the Bakassi Peninsula. Travelers should avoid this area.
- Travelers are required to avoid all travel to the Far North Region, which includes the regional capital cities of Maroua and the Lake Chad region.
- Travelers are advised to use cellular phones, as other telephone service is unreliable and landlines are nearly non-existent.

Cameroon Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Cameroonian business visa is issued to Singaporeans with the intention of conducting business in the country.
- The business visa is of two types:
- The single-entry visa -- this visa is processed within 8 business days.
- Multiple-entry visa -- this visa is processed within 10 business days.
- The single-entry visa is of two types: the Expedited and Standard single-entry.
- Once the business visa is issued to the applicant, its recipient must enter Cameroon within ninety (90) days of the date of issuance.
- The granted visa will start counting or will be valid for the duration (up to 30 days, 3 months, or 6 months) printed in the traveler’s passport as of the date of entry into Cameroon.
- After 90 days, a visa becomes void if it has not been used within that time-frame.
- Travelers finding themselves with a void visa and desiring to travel to Cameroon at a later time have to submit a whole new visa application including all the required documentation.
- For multiple-entry visas, a traveler is allowed to re-enter, after exiting Cameroon the first time, only during the validity period remaining on the visa.
- stating your job position and the terms of the applicant’s employment contract is required. The duration and the purpose of the applicant’s visit should be stated in the letter.
