How to get a Eritrea visa from Singapore

• Singaporeans traveling to Eritrea for tourism and visitation purposes are required to apply for the Eritrean tourist visa.
• The Eritrean tourist visa is valid for 90 days.
• Visa is not required for minors under 18 years of age if accompanied by parents holding a National ID Card issued by Eritrea.
• Outstaying your visa is considered a serious offence in Eritrea.
• Travelers are required to provide proof of sufficient funds to cover their entire stay in Eritrea.
• Proof of yellow fever vaccination must be provided.
• Travelers are required to declare amounts over $10,000 USD.
• Strict restrictions are in place for the type and quantity of electronics allowed into the country. Check with the Eritrean Ministry of Finance on the most current regulations.
• All electronic items (e.g. laptops, mobile phones, cameras) must be declared upon arrival.

• A letter from your current employer indicating your employment status and position held in the company is needed too. This letter should also state the purpose of your visit to Eritrea.
• A certificate of business registration of the company in Singapore should be submitted with other documents.
