  • Singapore citizens visiting the Maldives are granted visa on arrival for a period of 30 days.
  • Passport of visitors must be valid within the duration of stay stipulated in the visa application form.

  • Visitors are required to accompany pets with a health certificate and a certificate of vaccination against likely animal diseases.
  • Dogs are not allowed into the country.
  • Visitors are not required to pay any airport tax upon their departure from the airport.
  • There are no currency limitations on entry and at the exit from the Maldives.
  • Visitors are allowed the free import of a moderate quantity of tobacco, cigarettes and cigars and a moderate amount of gifts, regardless of their age.

  • Singapore citizens entering Maldive are required to pay for onward/return tickets.
