  • Singapore passport holder visiting Sao Tome and Principe can apply for an evisa for a 30 days duration of stay.
  • Intending visitors are expected to fill a visa form online and submit alongside passport photograph and details of their passport.
  • The passport is to be valid for at least 6 months on entry into the country with one blank page for visa stamps.
  • Visitors are also expect to hold proof of onward/return online tickets as well as proof of sufficient funds.
  • Visitors are advised to confirm with their airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa as these conditions are subject to change.
  • There are no restrictions on the amount of currencies in the possession of visitors on entry provided they are declared on arrival.
  • Singaporeans are required to provide an International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate on entry.

  • Taking photographs of the Presidential Palace, military, or other government buildings is strictly forbidden in Sao Tome and Principe.

As soon as your application has been received online, a confirmation having the reference number for the application would be sent. After which the application would be processed for 5 working days. Once approved, you would receive a visa approval letter by email. This letter is to be printed and taken to the airport.

Generally, Sao Tome and Principe is a safe place to visit. However, there is little occurrence of violent crime as well as robberies. So, visitors are advised to be cautious.
