- Somalia citizens can travel to Ecuador by obtaining an electronic visa at the embassy portal to stay for up to 90 days.

- Dry or fresh meat, unpreserved meat products and all kinds of plants and vegetables require previous permission from the Ministry of Agriculture.
- Visitors are allowed to depart with a moderate amount of cigarettes, tobacco and national alcoholic drinks.
- Goods such as narcotics, live animals and their parts, gold bars and antiques are prohibited from entry.
- To bring in pets, travellers must have a health certificate that is issued by an authorized governmental veterinarian and approved by the local health authorities in the home country.
