How to get a Germany visa from Somalia

• Somali citizens need a visa for travelling to Germany as a tourist.
• The stay is usually short stay with a period of 90 days and visa expires in 90 days.
• The applicant is required to be present when applying for the visa and there is a total of 10 documents required.
• Each person travelling with you on your travel document must submit their own visa form.
• When you submit your application your fingerprints will be taken. These will remain valid for 5 years. Some applicants, such as children under the age of 12, do not need to have their fingerprints taken.
• If you apply through an external service provider you will also have to pay an extra fee to the provider.
• You are required to provide proof of hotel accommodation in Germany for the entire duration of your stay, such as a confirmed hotel booking clearly showing the name and contact details of the hotel.

After making an appointment, you are to take the printed form along with all other required documents for your visa type to your visa appointment.
