- South Africans can visit Rwanda visa free for a duration of 30 days.
- You can stay on either a tourist or business visa.
- Visitors can enter Rwanda with a visa on arrival.
- A tourist visa to Rwanda cost $50.
- You can extend your visa for 90 days but it has to be while your visa is still valid.
- Visitors to Rwanda can receive the visa on arrival at Kigali International Airport and all land borders.
- Your passport must have a validity of at least 6 months on the day of entry in Rwanda.
- Before entry into Rwanda, intending visitors must have a passport photograph, a valid passport and proof of sufficient funds.
- Your visa is valid for 90 days.
- If you overstay your visa after the five days grace period, your penalty fee is 20,000 Frw.
