- The visitor transit visa allows travelers to go to Bermuda through the UK.
- There are two types of transit visa that can be used to transit into Bermuda
- -The Direct Airside Transit Visa which is most suitable for travelers in Bermuda for tourist, recreational and visitation related purposes. It's usually valid for a period of 6 months.
- - The Standard Visitor Visa is suitable for applicants who intend to work and do business in Bermuda. It's usually valid for a period of 6 months and can have a validity of up to 10 years depending on the discretion of the embassy.
- You can enter Bermuda and visit loved ones, attend summits, meetings, conferences and sign contracts while in the country.
- You'll be required to present an invitation letter from your host if you're not staying at a hotel in Bermuda. The letter should contain full details of your trip including purpose, duration and whoever will be financially responsible during the stay.
- A valid means of identification of your host should be submitted along with the letter. This could be in the form of National ID.
- For business purposes, the invitation letter is to be written on the inviting company's letterhead.
- For applicants coming to Bermuda to work or carry out business, the inviting company will have to apply for a work permit.
- A notarized copy of the registration certificate of the business as well as any other document that validates the Bermuda company is also required.
- Any document that shows previous relations with the inviting company in Bermuda is necessary.
- An introduction letter from your employer in Swaziland stating awareness and approval of your trip as well as if they'll take up any financial responsibility is needed.
- You're required to present proof of funds to show that you can cater to your expenses in Bermuda.
- The Direct Airside Transit visa costs $60 and usually allows a stay between 21 days to 6 months.
- The Standard Visitor Visa multiple entry visa costs $120.
