- The UK visitor visa which is also known as the Standard Visitor Visa is a UK short-stay visa that allows its holder to stay in the UK for up to 6 months.
- Holders of this visa can visit friends and family, undergo medical treatment or other professional reasons.
- If you are visiting anyone in the UK, a letter of invitation is required from your host. The name, address and passport number of your host are required.
- The Standard Visitor visa has replaced the following types of visas:

United Kingdom Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The UK student visa is for Swazis seeking to get involved in studies in UK educational institutions.
- If you are studying a short course and are over 18 years old, you may be eligible for the short term study visa.
- This is valid for up to 6 months for most short courses and can be extended for a stay for up to 11 months for English language courses.
- Applicants who will be studying a longer course will need to make sure your chosen institution holds a Tier 4 sponsored license.
- You can either apply for Tier 4(child student visa) if you are aged 4-17 and want to study at an independent school in the UK or a TIER 4(general) student visa for applicants aged 16 and above.
- A letter of consent signed by both parents is required for the visa application.
- You're not allowed to take jobs with this visa.
- You cannot be accompanied by family members if you are applying for this visa. They have to apply for their own visas.
- Holders of this visa cannot take up permanent residence in the UK.
- To extend your visa, you must be sponsored by an independent school.
- A letter of acceptance to study in the UK will be required to process this visa.
- Proof of adequate English language skills. Applicants are expected to pass a secure English language test.
- You'll be required to prove you have enough money to support yourself and pay for your courses. This proof could be in the form of bank statements and valid scholarship offers.
- You must prove that you have £1,015 (~US$1,300) per month for living costs if studying in the UK outside of London, and £1,265 (~US$1,600) a month for living costs if studying in London.
- This visa is usually processed within 3 weeks but you're advised to apply 3 months before your course starts.
- You can arrive in the UK 1 week before your course starts if the course duration is 6 months or less and up to one month if it's more.
- For 16 years and above, the visa is valid for up to 3 years and can be extended for 4 months afterwards. For applicants under 16 years, you can stay up to 6 years with an option of a 4-month extension.
- You are not allowed to seek public funds.

Invalid means you didn't send your passport or photos, or you didn't attend the biometrics appointment. It isn't even assessed, it is just rejected.
