Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Congolese Visa.
- Two correctly completed and duly signed visa application form.
- A passport valid for at least 3 months from the period of exit from the country is required.

Congo Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Congolese tourist visa is issued to Thailand citizens traveling to Congo for visitation, sightseeing, vacation and other recreational purposes.
- The Congolese tourist visa allows its holder to stay in Congo for a duration of 90 days.
- Two fully completed and signed tourist visa application form is required.
- Two passport-sized photographs taken within the last 6 months 2x2 inches and taken in a white background is required.
- For minors, an original copy of your birth certificate should be provided.
- If you are a minor traveling alone, you need a letter of consent signed by both parents.
- Letter of invitation from a host in Congo is required for applicants traveling to Congo for visitation.
- The letter should have the home address, contact details and a valid means of identification of the host.
- If you are traveling with your spouse, a copy of a valid marriage certificate is required.
- A certificate of yellow fever vaccination., Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus is required.
- A letter from your employer in Thailand stating your current job position and that leave was granted to you.

- Filght return ticket to show that you have the incentive of returning to Thailand after the expiry of your tourist visa.
- It is illegal to take pictures of government buildings, military installations, and border areas. You could be fined, be detained or arrested. Do not take photos of Congolese without permission.
- A copy of your airline ticket showing arrival and departure dates in the Republic of Congo is mandatory.
Congo Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Congolese business visa is a visa issued to Thailand citizens visiting Congo for business purposes.
- This visa is valid for 90 days, however applicants who plan on staying in the Republic of Congo for more than 30 days, he/she should extend the visa at the nearest Immigration Office.
- An international passport valid for at least 6 months after your return from Congo is required.
- A complete travel itinerary.
- Bank statements for the last three months to show proof of enough funds to cover your stay in Congo.
- A cover letter stating the purpose of your visit to the country.
- A letter of invitation from a business partner in Congo Brazaville. The letter must state the type of business dealings to be conducted and your entry and exit dates in the country.
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required.
- A letter from the applicant employer in Thailand is required. The letter should state the duration, and the purpose of the business visit should be stated in detail. The letter should be addressed to “The Embassy of the Republic of Congo” and must be stamped by the local Department of Immigration.
- The letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant and must provide detailed contact information in Congo.
- If the company you are meeting up with is financing your visit to the country, it should be stated in the letter from the company.
- A valid medical insurance to cover the duration of your stay in Congo is required.
- Applicants in Congo on a business visa are not allowed to take up paid employment.
- If you are traveling with a minor, a consent letter signed by both parents is required.
- A flight return ticket is required to show that you have the incentive of returning back to Thailand after the expiry of your visa.
