  • The Danish student visa is available for Thais intending to study in one of the universities in Denmark.
  • Danish universities are known for being leaders in terms of innovation, as they are keen on investing in world-class research facilities.
  • It is necessary for you to confirm your admission status by showing an admission letter as proof that you have been offered admission to study in Denmark. The letter is issued by the authorities of the institutions you intend to study in.
  • Students are required to have 1000 Euros per month to cover their finances.
  • A proof of language proficiency (in English or Danish, depending on which language you are undertaking your studies in) is needed.

  • If the intention is to attend a meeting or seminar, confirmation/invitation from the conference organizer/institution is required.
  • The invitation letter must also mention how the expenses of the applicant are going to be covered during his/her travel. It must be made clear whether it will be sponsored by the employer or the local company.
  • In most cases, you will also need to submit a ‘no-objection’ letter. This letter is required to validate your current status and assure the embassy that your have permission to travel. A no-objection letter is typically obtained from your employer or school authorities.
  • If you are employed, you will have to present a certificate from your employer stating or allowing your business travel.
  • Your bank statement from the last 6 months is needed. Self-employed people will submit proof of business registration.

  • Thais looking to travel to Denmark for employment purposes can apply for the Danish work visa.
  • If you’re coming to work in a role which is paid significantly above the average wage, or for an employer who has been approved by the government as an international recruiter, you can apply for this visa.
  • All applicants must give bio-metric data, including photographs and fingerprints.
