Basic Travel Requirements for Thais visiting Estonia
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Estonian Visa.
- A passport valid for a duration of 6 months after exiting Estonia and blank pages for visa stamps is required.
- Two passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The photograph must be at least 3 months old from the time of application.
- Original bank statement for the last three months prior to the date of application for the visa to show proof of financial status.
- Valid travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 in case of emergency or an accident while in the country.
- Proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
- A return flight ticket must be provided.
- Copy of travel itinerary showing your entry and exit dates and duration of stay in the country.
- A cover letter that explains the purpose of your visit and duration of stay in Estonia.
- Marriage certificate or children's birth certificate to show proof of civil status.
- A valid travel medical insurance.
- If you are retired, a copy of your pension statement of the latest six months is required.
- Employed applicants are required to show a bank statement of the last six months, certificate of income tax returns, employment contracts and No-objection certificate from your employer.
- Self-employed applicants are required to submit a copy of their business license, their company's bank statement of the latest six months and income tax returns.

- This visa is issued to foreigners visiting Estonia to engage in business activities.
- Thailand citizens who have the intention of visiting Estonia to attend seminars, trade fairs, and conferences are also eligible to apply for this visa.
- Applicants of this visa can negotiate and sign business deals and also meet with business partners with this visa.
- An official letter of invitation from the company in Estonia printed on the company letterhead should be provided.
- A letter from the applicant employer in Thailand is required. The letter should introduce the applicant, state the contact address of the company, as well as, the duration and purpose of the applicant visit to Estonia.
- A letter must also state that the applicant’s employer in Thailand is aware of the business trip, leave was granted and must include the applicant's current job position and salary range.
- The business letter from the host company in Estonia should also state who will bear the cost during the applicant’s visit to the country.
- If there have been previous business dealings between the two companies, proof of this is required.
- Foreigners are not permitted to receive payments for the services they render while they are in the country on a business visa.
- Memorandum and Article of Association in original copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents of the host company must also be provided.
- Business bank statement of the latest 6 months must be provided by the applicant to show proof of financial status.
