Basic Travel Requirements for Thais visiting Germany
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a German Visa.
- A completed visa application form.
- passport with 6 months validity before exiting Germany with blank pages for visa stamps.
- Two recently taken coloured passport photos of 32- 36mm in height, taken against a gray background is required.
- Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations in Germany
- Applicants planning to stay with friends or relatives are expected to submit a copy of their passport and proof that they can support their stay.
- Flight return ticket.
- Travel itinerary.
- Bank statements for the last 3 months to show proof of sufficient funds to cover the stay period.
- A document showing the purpose of your visit to Germany.
- Minors traveling alone are expected to show a consent letter written and signed by both parents.

- Applicants staying in German for more than 30 days are advised to obtain a national medical visa.

- A letter from a doctor in Thailand stating that he/ she is aware of your illness and you will be attended to on arrival.
