Basic Travel Requirements for Thais visiting Greece
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Greek Visa.
- A passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
- A duly completed and signed visa application form.
- Two recent Passport-size photographs (40 mm x 60 mm) in size taken in light background.
- Travel medical insurance of 30,000 € to cover the duration of stay in Greece and the entire Schengen area.
- A complete travel itinerary.
- Travel itinerary stating the dates of entry and exit in Greece and flight numbers.
- Proof of financial means to cover the duration of stay in Greece.
- Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations for the whole duration of stay in Greece.
- Copy of return flight ticket.
- Children birth certificate or marriage certificate to show the applicant's ties to home country.
- If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form and give consent to the minor trip.
- A cover letter stating the applicant's purpose of visit to Greece and duration of stay.
- Copy of travel itinerary.
- Leave approval letter from your employer (for employed applicant).
- Retired applicants are required to show their pension statements for the last six months.

- A passport issued within the previous 10 years with three months validity after the date of exit from Greece.

- Thailand citizens who wish to study in a learning institution in Greece can apply for the Greek student visa.
- A valid international passport with at least two blank pages for visa stamps.
- Two recently taken passport photograph taken against a white background.
- Travel insurance with a minimum coverage of € 30,000 to cover medical emergency or illness while in Greece and in the Schengen areas.
- A cover letter stating the reason who want to study in Greece. The cover letter should be convincing enough for the consular to belive.
- Admission or acceptance letter from a higher institution in Greece.

Greece Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Greek business visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Greece with the intention of engaging in business meetings, conferences or trade fairs.
- Foreigners in Greece on a business visa can attend and participate in trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
- An invitation letter from the host company in Greece is required. The letter should be written in both Greek and English.
- The invitation letter should contain the company's address, the purpose of the applicant's visit, the dates of the applicant's visit and the type of business transaction to be carried out in Greece.
- Foreigners visiting the country to attend a conference should provide an invitation letter from the company or authorized body to attend events connected with trade.
- A clean police record stating that the applicant is free from any criminal offense in his home country.
- Proof of accommodation in the country.
- Travel itinerary.
- Proof of flight return/ onward ticket.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer stating the applicant’s current job position, salary level and length of employment should be provided.
- The letter should state that the employer gives consent to the employee's travel.
- Either the employer or the partner company in Greece must state coverage of expenses that the applicant may incur while in Greece.
- Proof of previous business dealings between the Greek company and the company in Thailand.
- Business bank statement for the latest six months.
- A Certificate of Business Incorporation as well as a memorandum and article of association of the company in Greece is required.
