Liberia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  •  Liberia tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting Liberia for tourism, sightseeing, visitation and other recreational purposes.
  • A Liberia tourist visa allows its holder to stay in Liberia for a period of 90 days. 
  • There are two types of Liberian tourist visa:
  • Single-entry visa: This visa is valid for just one trip to Liberia for a duration of 30 days. 
  • Multiple-entry visa: this visa allows multiple entries into Liberia for as long as the visa is valid.
  • Currency restriction for entry into Liberia is 10,000 dollars and currency restriction for exit out of Liberia is 7,500 dollars. 
  • A certificate of yellow fever vaccination is required.
  • Applicant visiting Liberia for visitation purposes are required to show an invitation letter written by a host in Liberia. 
  • Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations. 
  • Foreigners in Liberia on a tourist visa are not allowed to work or study with this visa. 
  • Bank statement to show proof of sufficient funds to cover the duration of your stay in Liberia.
  • Minors traveling alone are required to submit a copy of their birth certificate and a notarized consent letter signed by both parents.

  • Liberia business visa is a  visa issued to foreigners visiting the country for business purposes.
  • Business travelers with this visa can negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners in Liberia.
  • Holders of this visa can attend trade fairs, conferences. Seminars and exhibitions in Liberia. 
  • An official letter of invitation from the company in Liberia stating the purpose and duration of the business trip to Liberia must be submitted.
  • A sponsorship letter stating that the inviting company will finance your expenses while in Liberia.
  • A letter from your employer in Thailand stating your job position, salary level and length of your employment is to be also provided.
  • Proof of previous trade dealings between the inviting and the applicant company (if there have been any) is needed.
  • Applicants of this visa must be ready to exit Liberia after the expiry of the business visa. If you are caught in Liberia after the expiry of your visa you may be fined, punished or deported.
  • A copy of a return ticket which proves your intention to return back to Thailand is required.
  • International certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever.
