Albania visa requirements for Togoleses

The Albanian tourist visa is issued to Togolese travelling with the intention of sight seeing, vacation or relaxation.

The tourist visa are of two types; namely the TYPE C and TYPE D

The type C visa is a short stay visa issued to Togolese that has a validity of 90 days. This visa type is Issued with one, two or multiple entries.

The type D is a Long-stay visa is issued to Togolese who wish to stay in Albania for more than 90  days. This visa type is issued with one, two or multiple entry.

Applicants who have been invited by their friends and relatives in the country can also apply for this Tourist Visa.

Applicants who are employed are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness of their leave, duration and job description.

Applicants who are less than 18 years are to submit a copy of their original birth certificate along side a letter of consent from one or both parents.

Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted by the applicant.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of stay should be submitted.

Applicants travel itinerary including round trip reservation should be presented.

Proof of payment of visa application fee should be submitted.

The following are excluded to personally present themselves at the Albanian Embassy or Consulate: Holders of diplomatic passports, Humanitarian cases, High-Level Officials (personalities), their accompanying spouses and accompanying delegations on official visits, Foreigners organized in tourist groups; - Foreigners which have previously applied for a visa within a 59 months (4 years and 11 months) period. 

Applicants who intend to travel through a tourist group should provide photocopies of the licence of Albanian Tourism Agency, which invites foreign tourist groups.

The Albanian business visa (Type D) is issued to Togolese visit Albania for business and commercial purposes. 

Applicants are to submit their passport that has a minimum validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel.

Two passport photographs should be added to the passport to be submitted. 

Applicants are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness of their leave, duration and purpose.

There should also be proof of financial responsibility for the applicant by the company during the intended stay in Albania.

A letter from the host company in Albania stating their awareness of your visit purpose and duration should be sent to the embassy. The letter should be written with the company’s letterhead and signed by a senior official.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicants duration of stay should be submitted.

Applicants travel itinerary and round trip reservation should be submitted.

Proof of previous business dealings between both companies should be submitted if any.

If the applicant is a private business owner, proof of business registration should be submitted.

Applicants are to also submit a copy of their Income tax Return for the last 6 months

If the host is also a foreigner,  then a copy of the host’s residence permit is to be submitted to the Albanian authority.

The time-frame for the use of the business visa also begins from the date of issuance. 

Those issued this visa are expected to exercise gainful activities with evidence. 

Transit visa allows Togolese to make short stays in the country.

Applicants of these visa aim to take a connecting flight from Albania to their destination country.

This visa allows the joining of seamen to a crew ship in a port in Albania to their destination country.

For seamen, the name of the ship you are joining and the port you are joining the ship too should be indicated on the letter from the maritime agency in the country.

The visa and flight ticket to the destination country should be provided.

You cannot use the visa for tourism purposes.

Holders of this visa are expected to leave the country before the expiry of their visa.

Receipt of paid visa application fees should be provided.

The visa is valid for 24 hours.
