The Student Visa is issued to Togolese travelling with the intention of studying in any of the academic institutions in Armenia. Applicants are to be in possession of a valid passport. Applicants should ensure that they have been accepted into one of the institutions of learning in the country before initiating the visa application process. Applicants are to submit their letter of admission/acceptance to the embassy as a proof of admission. The acceptance letter should also state the applicant's course and the duration of the study. Applicants are to provide proof of financial sufficiency that covers their duration of stay. Applicants are to provide proof of payment of part or full tuition fee. Togolese students studying in Armenia are permitted to work for a period of time, as long as it does not interfere with their studies. Togolese applying for this visa are required to present certificates and transcripts from previously attended schools. Applicants below 18 years are to submit their original birth certificate alongside a letter of consent from one or both parents. Applicants are to submit proof of medical insurance that will cover the duration of stay. Applicants are to provide proof of payment for visa application.

This visa is issued to Togolese who intend to make stopovers in Armenia. Applicants of this visa may also have the intention of transiting through Armenia to their destination country. Applicants are required to submit proof of visa and other entry permits to the destination country. The flight ticket of the destination country should also be provided by the applicant. Transit visas are usually single-entry visa or multiple-entry visa and are issued with a stay for no more than 3 days. The maximum extension stay for this visa is 4 days. Applicants are to submit proof of payment for visa application fee. Applicants who are under 18 years should submit the original copy of their birth certificate. This should be accompanied by a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor.
