Chile visa requirements for Togoleses

The Chilean visitor's visa is issued as the tourist visa.

Togolese travelling with the intentions of sightseeing, recreation, vacation or visiting family and friends are the recipients of this visa. 

The Chilean visa application can be made online but applicants must appear in person for the interview at the embassy.

A scanned copy of the applicant's passport (only the photo page is needed). The passport must have a validity of at least 18 months from the proposed date of travel.

A cover letter written by the applicant introducing himself and stating the purpose and duration of their visit must be submitted.

If the applicant is visiting someone in Chile, a letter of invitation from the person is mandatory. The letter should contain the contact address of the person. 

Proof of criminal record from the appropriate institution in Togo is mandatory.

A medical certificate that shows that the applicant is free from all communicable diseases should be submitted.

Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted.

Applicants are to provide their travel itinerary.

Proof of payment for the visa application fee should be provided.

Applicants are advised not to make non-refundable expenses pending the result of their application.

The Student Visa is issued to foreigners travelling to Chile for study purposes.

A letter of acceptance from the academic institution you have been accepted to is required. The letter should outline the nature and duration of the study being undertaken in Chile.

The Students visa has a validity of 1 year with a minimum stay of 6months.

For applicants on scholarship, their duration of stay is dependent on the duration of the scholarship program.

Applicants are to provide certificates that qualifies him for the course to be undertaken.

Applicants are to provide proof of financial capacity that covers their duration of stay.

Applicants are to provide proof of part or full payment of tuition fee.

Applicants are to submit proof of health insurance that covers their duration of stay.

Applicants are to provide certificates that qualifies him for the course to be undertaken.

Proof of criminal record in the form of a certificate should be submitted.

Minors are required to have their original birth certificate accompanied with a letter of consent signed by both their parents.

Proof of medical fitness showing that the applicant is free from communicable diseases is mandatory. This must be from a recognized medical establishment in Togo.

Bearers of this visa are permitted to part-time during school sections and full time during break

A receipt that shows payment of visa application fee has been made.

The Chilean work visa is issued Togolese travelling to Chile for work purposes.

The validity of the work Visa is two years.

There is also the resident visa subject to dependent contract, it is granted to the family members of the owner of a Work Visa, with a similar duration and does not allow work.

A letter from the employing company or employer in Chile justifying the hiring of the applicant should be sent to the Chilean embassy.

A copy of the applicant's work contract with the Chilean company should be submitted(it should be notarized and translated). 

The Chilean work visa must be sponsored by a registered Chilean company.

The employer should provide a proof that there was no Chilean qualified and willing to take the job being offered.

A notarized work contract written with the Chilean legal norms signed by both the employer and the employee should be submitted. This document should be translated to Chilean.

The applicant is required to provide a police report which shows a clean criminal record.

Proof of medical fitness in the form of a certificate showing that the applicant is free from all communicable diseases should be submitted.

The VAT payment of the contracting company for the last three months and the workers’ forecast from the corresponding time should be provided by the contracting company.

Applicants are to provide certificates that qualify them for the job.

Applicants without the right qualification for the job in which they have been given employment might be denied visa.
