Ireland Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Irish tourist visa is known as a short stay visa (type D). The tourist visa is issued to Togolese travelling with the intentions of sightseeing, relaxation or vacation. It also issued to applicant visiting Ireland to visit friends and relations. This visa is usually issued as a single entry or Multiple entry on rare occasions. The visa has a validity of 90 days (3 months). The Irish tourist visa can not be extended beyond the 90 days period. Proof of financial sufficiency that covers the applicant's duration of stay should be submitted. Proof of hotel reservation or accommodation should be submitted. Applicants travel itinerary and round trip reservation should be submitted. Applicant travel insurance with a minimum value of 30,000 euros should be submitted. Applicants are to appear in person for their visa application. Applicants are advised not to make no refundable expenses until their visa application has been granted.
Ireland Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Business visa is issued to Togolese visiting Ireland for business, work or activities related to business with an Irish business partner. Bearers of this visa can also attend conferences, negotiate and sign contracts during the duration of their stay. A business visa has a validity of 90 days. Togolese travelling on this visa with the intentions of working are only permitted to work for two weeks. Applicants are required to appear in person for their interview. The application of this visa can only be done from your home country. In some cases, applicants may need to provide biometric information to serve as proof of identity. Applicants are to submit a letter from their employer stating the awareness, purpose and duration of their leave. A letter from your host company in Ireland stating the awareness, purpose and duration of your visit should be sent to the embassy. The letter should state it the host company will be financially responsible for the applicant while in Ireland. Proof of previous business dealings should be submitted if any. Applicants travel itinerary and round trip reservation should be submitted. Proof of incentive of returning to your home country at the expiration of your visa should be submitted. Applicants are advised not to make non-refundable expenses until they have been granted visa.
Ireland Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
The Irish work visa is issued to Togolese who have been employed by a company in Ireland. Applicants should ensure that they have been given employment before applying for this visa. Applicants of this visa will have to obtain a work/employment permit from the departments of Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation (DJEI). The DJEI issues three types of work permit including Critical Skills Employment Permits and Work Permits. Applicants are allowed to apply for the work permit up to three months before applying for their visa. The employing company should prove that the employer would not be paid below the national minimum wage. The host company should provide proof that there was no Irish qualified and willing to take up the job as at the time of employment The visa application can be done online but applicants are to appear in person for their interview. You can generally expect a decision within 8 weeks from the date your application reaches the embassy. You are not permitted to take up any form of employment, other than that for which you have already been approved. All documents submitted should be translated to Irish. All documents accompanying your application must be originals.
