Basic Travel Requirements for Tunisians visiting Chile

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Chilean Visa.

  • Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country.
  • The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
  • Correctly completed visa application form duly signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background.
  • The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
  • Applicant’s bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application.
  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage.
  • The insurance should be valid for the duration of the stay in Chile.
  • Proof of civil status by providing a national ID card, original birth certificate, etc.

Chile Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Foreigners applying for this visa have the intention of visiting Chile for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
  • Angolans who have been invited to Chile by their friends or relatives can also apply for the tourist visa.

  • This visa allows foreigners to attend trade fairs, conferences, and business summits relating to their profession.
  • A letter from the inviting company in Chile which is printed on the company’s letterhead should be provided. The letter should state the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the applicant’s visit.
  • The letter should state if the host company or the inviting company will take responsibility for the applicant’s finances while in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Tunisia should be provided.
  • The letter from Tunisia should state awareness of business leave.
  • If there have been any trade relations between the host company and the inviting company, proof of this is required.
  • Non-Tunisians should provide a copy of their residence permit.
  • Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
