Basic Travel Requirements for Tunisians visiting Chile

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Chilean Visa.


  • Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country.
  • The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
  • Correctly completed visa application form duly signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background.
  • The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
  • Applicant’s bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application.
  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage.
  • The insurance should be valid for the duration of the stay in Chile.
  • Proof of civil status by providing a national ID card, original birth certificate, etc.
  • Proof of accommodation for the entire period applicant will be staying in Chile.
  • Proof of accommodation could either be a hotel reservation or letter of invitation from the hosts indicating that they will be accommodating the applicant.
  • Copy of return flight ticket showing that the applicant will go back to Tunisia after the visa expires.
  • Travel itinerary showing exit and entry dates of travel.
