How to get a Croatia visa from Tunisia

• A tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting Croatia for the purpose of leisure and tourism such as sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.
• Tunisians who have been invited to Croatia by their friend or relative with permanent residence can apply for the tourist visa.
• An applicant under the age of 18 years must provide the original copy of the birth certificate and a notarized consent signed by both the parents should be provided.
• Applicants are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment while they are in Croatia.
• Receipt of the non-refundable visa application fee is required.
• Non-Tunisians applying for the visa should provide a copy of their Tunisia residence permit. This permit should be valid for at least three months from the intended period of exiting the country.

• A letter of invitation from the host company/organization in Croatia should be presented during the visa application process. The letter should have the company’s address, the purpose, and duration of your visit.
• A letter from the applicant’s employer stating awareness of the business visit to Croatia should be provided. The letter should provide information which includes the position of the applicant held in the company, how long the applicant has been employed, the purpose of the visit, as well as, the duration of the stay in Croatia.
• A certificate of business registration of the host company in Croatia is required.
• If the responsibility of the applicant’s expenses in Croatia will be taken up by the employer in Tunisia or the partner company in Croatia, it should be stated in the letter provided.
• Proof of any previous business dealings between you and the company you are meeting with should be provided if any.
• Holders of the business visa are not allowed to be paid for the services they render in the country.
• Tunisians in the country with this visa are not allowed to study.
• Non-Tunisians are required to provide a copy of their Tunisian stay permit.

The best time to visit Croatia is in May and June or September and October when the weather is pleasant and sunny. This makes it ideal for swimming and sunbathing. It is also less crowded at these times than the summer months of July and August which are the high season and can be very hot, especially in the afternoon.
