Basic Travel Requirements for Ugandans visiting DR Congo

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Congolese Visa.


  • A copy of the duly completed and signed application form.
  • One colored passport-sized photographs taken with a white background. The head and shoulders of applicants should be visible.
  • Valid travel insurance.
  • A passport that is still valid for 6 months after exiting from the country. The passport should have one blank page.
  • Bank statement which shows that the applicant has sufficient funds to cater for himself/herself throughout the visit in the country. This should not be older than 6 months prior to the visa application.
  • Copy of detailed travel itinerary.
  • Proof of booked return flight to Uganda.
  • Proof of valid hotel booking.
