Basic Travel Requirements for Emiratis visiting Cameroon

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Cameroonian Visa.

  • The applicant's passport's expiration date must be greater than six months from the date of the plan to depart Cameroon.
  • The Passport must contain sufficient blank visa pages where the visas stamps will be affixed.
  • Amendment pages in the back of your passport are not acceptable for visa issuance.
  • The Cameroon visa application form must be correctly filled out and signed.
  • Current immunization records, including evidence of yellow fever vaccination, are required for entry into Cameroon.
  • World Health Organization (WHO) card with yellow fever vaccination.
  • Proof of polio vaccination for visits longer than four weeks.
  • Applicants must provide a copy of their roundtrip airline confirmation indicating the dates of entry and exit from the country they intend to visit. 
  • The applicant's name must be on the ticket.
  • Applicants must provide a clear, legible copy of the most recent bank statement of $200 per day or a letter from the applicant’s bank verifying you have sufficient funds for the duration of stay.
  • Applicant under 18 years must submit a signed letter of consent signed by both parents and a  notarized copy of the minor's birth certificate.
  • A copy of the passports or photo IDs of both parents is also required.

Cameroon Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Cameroon tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting for tourist travel, visiting family and friends and sightseeing.
  • Completed and signed Cameroon visa application form is required.
  • The signed passport which should be valid for 6 months beyond the intended stay in Cameroon and with at least two blank visa pages available for Cameroon visa stamps.
  • Two recent (not older than 90 days) 2 x 2 passport photographs are required.
  • A copy of round trip tickets or confirmed flight itinerary which should include applicants' names and show entry into and exit from Cameroon.
  • Non-UAE passport holders must provide a copy of their valid residence permit.
  • A copy of confirmed hotel reservations in Cameroon which should include the applicant's name.
  • Applicant's most recent monthly bank statements must be provided. 
  • The bank Statement must show date, applicant’s name as the account holder, account balance, & sufficient funds for their stay in Cameroon.
  • A notarized letter of support signed by both parents/legal guardians granting permission for the child to travel to Cameroon and specifying who will be traveling with the child.
  • For applicants staying with family or friends in Cameroon for a 3-6 month period, a legalized letter of invitation from the inviting party, or invitation to an event organized on the National Territory is required 
  • A clear color copy of an International Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination is also required for the tourist visa to Cameroon.

Cameroon Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The business visa is issued to foreigners traveling for Business meetings, conferences, seminars, and getting involved in sales with other business partners in Cameroon.
  • Cameroon passport should be valid for 6 months after the required period of  stay in Cameroon and 
  • The passport must have at least two blank visa pages to affix the Cameroon visa stamps.
  • Two recent passport photographs with a plain white background are required.
  • A letter of invitation from the host company or sponsor in Cameroon.
  • The Letter should be signed and sealed on the company letterhead and signed by an appropriate person in the applicant’s company.
  • The Invitation Letter should explain in detail the nature of the business relationship with the applicant, state applicant's name & passport number.
  • The letter must also state dates of arrival and departure from Cameroon, specify clearly the type of business to be conducted while in Cameroon and provide the contact information for the company or individual to be visited in Cameroon.
  • A copy of round trip tickets or confirmed flight itinerary which should include the applicant's name and show entry into and exit from Cameroon.
  • The applicant's most recent monthly bank statement must be provided. 
  • The applicant’s bank Statement must show date, applicant’s name as the account holder, account balance, & sufficient funds for the stay in Cameroon.
  • A clear color copy of an International Certificate of Yellow Fever Vaccination is also required for
  • A business visa to Cameroon written on company letterhead and addressed to the Embassy of Cameroon must state awareness of the applicant’s business leave, the dates of the applicant’s visit, the name and address of the company to be visited.
  • The business letter must clearly indicate if the company guarantees the financial responsibility of the applicant for all travel expenses.
