Basic Travel Requirements for Emiratis visiting Niger

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Nigerien Visa.

  • Signed UAE passport must be valid for 6 months after the required period of stay in Niger.
  • The passport should have at least one blank passport page available for the Niger visa stamp. 
  • Amendment pages in the back of the passport are not suitable for Niger visas.
  • Three original Niger visa application forms should be completely filled and signed by the applicant.
  • Three recent, identical, 2 x 2 passport photographs, in color with a light background.
  • Flight itinerary from the airline or travel agency or copy of airline tickets.
  • International certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.
  • Cholera vaccination is required only if traveling from a country where an outbreak of the disease has been reported.
  • Two copies of evidence of sufficient funds (at least $500 in the bank account) to support stay in destination such as traveler's cheques, and/or most recent bank statement.
  • A copy of the travel itinerary showing entry and exit date from Niger.
  • Applicants under the age of 18 are required to provide a birth certificate and signed consent notes from the parents or legal guardians.
  • A copy of hotel reservation or booking in Niger is required to showing proof of accommodation.

Niger Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Niger tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting Niger for the purpose of sightseeing, vacation or relaxation.
  • Applicants' passport with a validity of 6 months from the proposed date of travel should be submitted.
  • The passport should have at least one empty page for the Niger visa stamp 
  • A letter of invitation from the host in Niger addressed to the Niger Embassy is required.
  • The letter should clearly state the purpose of the applicant's travel, the duration of intended stay, names of places to be visited, and contact information of the host in Niger.
  • If the host is a tour organization in Niger, details of the tour, and duration of the tour trip should be indicated in the letter of invitation.
  • Applicants under the age of 18 years are required to submit the original copy of their birth certificate, indicating the names of both their parents. 
  • A letter of consent signed by both parents is also required.
  • Applicants are to provide a bank statement of not less than three months as proof of sufficient funds for the required duration of stay.
  • Proof of hotel reservation and flight itinerary.
  • Proof of visa application fee is required.
  • Certificates of vaccination an immunization serving as proof that the applicant is free from any communicable disease and yellow fever.
  • Holders of a tourist visa are not required to study, wok or engage in any business activities in Niger.

Niger Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Niger business visa is issued to applicants who intend to travel to Niger for business purposes.
  • Applicants are to have a valid passport with at least six months' validity from the proposed date of travel.
  • Letter of invitation written on the host company’s letterhead and this should contain the applicant’s passport number, status in the company, and the purpose of the visit to Niger.
  • The letter of invitation must be issued and approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Niger.
  • A copy of the business registration certificate should be submitted to the embassy.
  • The business letter must also indicate who will be financially responsible for the applicant while in Niger and must provide detailed contact information of the host company.
  • A letter from the applicant's employer in UAE stating the awareness of the business leave, and the purpose and duration of the stay in Niger.
  • If the applicant has been in previous business with the company in Niger, proof of this should be presented.
  • Receipt of payment of visa application fee is required.
  • Proof of the incentive of returning to UEA at the expiry of the visa is required
  • Medical certificates that show that the applicant is free from all communicable diseases are required.
