Basic Travel Requirements for Vietnameses visiting Spain
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Spanish Visa.
- A fully completed and signed visa application form.
- Two recent passport photos taken within the last three months.
- A valid passport which is not older than 10 years with a validity of at least three months beyond your intended exit.
- An onward or round trip reservation or itinerary.
- A travel insurance policy with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros in case of any medical emergency as illnesses, accidents and even repatriation in case of death.
- A proof of accommodation with a host or at a hostel.
- A proof of financial means. Evidence that you have enough money to support yourself financially throughout your stay in the country. This can be one of the following:
- Bank account statement must not be older than 3 months.
- Sponsorship Letter – by another person that confirms they will be financially supporting your trip to Spain.
- A proof of paid visa fee. €60 for adults and €35 for children from 6 to 12 years old.

Spain Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Spanish tourist visa is granted to those who intend to visit Spain for tourism and sightseeing.
- Spain is one of the world’s top tourist destinations and is used to welcoming millions of visitors from around the world every year.
- A visitor who wants to enter Spain as a tourist requires a short term visa. This short term visa is also known as Schengen (tourist) visa.
- This visa is issued for a maximum duration of 90 days.
- Here are some required documents for applicants:
- Passport that is valid for at least six months after the intended date of travel and three months after the scheduled return from travel; with previous passport and two full blank pages to affix the visa.
- Three coloured copies of the data page of the passport.
- Two 3.5cm x 4.5cm coloured passport photographs that is not more than 1 month old and with a white background
- Payslips for the past six months.
- Personal statement of account for the past six months and that of your company, if you are being sponsored.
- General income generated by property, share certificates, bonds, and proof of ties to Guinea Bissau (marriage), if any.
- Hotel Booking: In the case where you have no one to invite you, you will need a valid hotel booking as proof of accommodation arrangement.
- You must show proof of having valid travel insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 30,000.
Spain Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Those who can apply for a Spanish student visa should have been accepted to study in a University or college in Spain.

- The cost of living for students in Spain is very affordable.
- Tuition at some colleges cost as little as 5,500 Euros per year while others cost upwards of 12,000 Euros per year. This also depends on your study degree.

- Most classes in Spain are taught in Spanish. Even if you choose English classes, be prepared to learn Spanish anyway.
- Students must have at least 300 Euros monthly to sustain themselves financially during the duration of their stay.
- Applicants looking to study for more than three months are eligible to apply for a residence permit.
- The following documents are also required:
- An original passport valid for at least three months beyond intended stay and/or national ID card
- A letter of invitation from the Spanish college/university you have enrolled in.
- A proof that you are financially capable for the length of your stay
- Medical insurance with international coverage of at least 30,000 Euros.

- Certificate of absence of police records issued by your national police.

Spain Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Foreign citizens can work or gain employment in Spain with a work visa.
- The permit will only be granted if the job is listed as a Shortage Occupation or if the vacancy has been advertised and there are no suitable candidates from Spain or the EU to take the job.
- You will also need a work permit to be authorized to work in Spain.
- As the Spanish immigration law dictates that employers must submit the application on your behalf before you can work legally in Spain.
- However, you need to provide your employer with all the relevant documents needed to apply on your behalf.
- The following documents are needed to process your work visa:
- An original passport valid for six months is required.
- A duly completed and signed visa application form.
- Two passport-size photographs taken on a white background.
- A police report showing no criminal record obtained within the latest 90 days.
- Original copy of a medical certificate issued by a medical institution and signed by a doctor verifying that you are free from any contagious diseases, and that you are free of any drug addictions and mental illnesses.
- Processing your work permit can take up to eight months so you are advised to start your application well in time.
- A work permit is valid for one year but it can be renewed as long as you still fulfil the requirements under which it was first issued.
Spain Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Spanish business visa is issued to citizens of Guinea Bissau who intend to enter Spain for the purpose of engaging in business activities.
- This visa is valid for 90 days within a 180-day period.
- You are expected to have original passports valid for more than three months with two blank pages.
- Two recent passport-size photographs taken on a white background and showing your whole face is required.
- A Spanish Travel Insurance with a minimum of €30,000 to cover your medical emergencies.
- Applicants have to submit a proof that they are financially capable for the entire duration of your trip and to also live comfortably on at least €65 per day while in Spain, by providing your most recent bank account statements.
- An original copy of a letter of invitation from a Spanish company should be addressed to the Consulate General of Spain in your home country and written in Spanish.
- If there exist previous trade relations between your company and the partner Spanish company, you must provide proof of such relations. This proof could be original bills of lading, custom clearance documents or any other proof you have.
- An evidence that proves your intention to return to your country of origin once your visa expires is required e.g a round trip ticket.
- You are also required to present a proof of your hotel accommodation in Spain for the entire duration of your stay.
- Employed applicants are to provide proof of their employment contract, leave letter, your current bank account statement of the latest six months and an Income Tax Return.
- Self-employed citizens are to provide a copy of their business license, company's bank account statements of the last six months, as well as an Income Tax return.
- All original documents of the Guinea Bissau company that is sending you on the business trip must be provided. These documents must include: Certificate of Incorporation or Registration, Memorandum of Articles of Association and Tax Clearance.
