Entry Requirements

  • Citizens of Vietnam who intends to visit Tanzania should apply for either Tanzanian e-visa or visa on arrival.
  • The length of stay in Tanzania will be decided at the port of entry, and the visa is valid for 90 days.
  • Tanzanian visas fee range from $50 to $100 depending on the visa category you are applying for.
  • You have to visit the website of the Tanzania Immigration Department. That is, www.immigration.go.tz. for your e-visa application.
  • Fill your e-visa form and supply all the required documents and information accurately on the form online.
  • Once your e-visa application is approved, it will be mailed to you through your email address.
  • You are to print out the e-visa sent to you and your e-visa application form.
  • All visitors' international passports must be valid for 6 months and beyond the period of intended stay. Two blanked pages at least must be left on your passport for necessary stampings.
  • Do not forget to travel with your national identity card (ID) issued to you in your home country.
  • Travel itinerary should be provided before your embarkation to Tanzania.
  • Hotel bookings or any other proof of accommodation in Tanzania should be provided.
  • Proof of sufficient fund to cater for you through your stay in Tanzania should be ready.
