- This business visa is for Zambians who want to travel to France for business-related activities.
- Business travelers can negotiate, sign contracts and attend business meetings with their partners while in the country.
- You are permitted to attend seminars, trade fairs, and conferences related to your professional activity while you are in France.
- You are to submit an invitation letter from the French company you are in business with.
- The letter should state the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the trip.
- If employed, applicants are required to present a letter from their employer stating allowance and awareness of their leave.
- The purpose and duration of the trip should be clearly stated in the letter.
- The business letter is to also state the applicant’s job position and salary level.
- It should also state who will be responsible for the applicant's expenses throughout their stay in France.
- The company's bank statements are to be provided.
- If there have previous trade relations between the host company and the sponsoring company, proof of the events must be provided.
- Applicants are required to leave the country on or before the expiration of their visas.
- This visa is not to be used for tourism purposes.
France Medical Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to those visiting France to seek and receive medical treatment.
- This visa is also for persons who wish to accompany sick persons coming to France to receive medical treatment.
- A medical report from the applicant’s doctor in Zambia stating the nature of the ailment of the applicant.
- The letter is to also state that such treatment can not be gotten in Zambia.
- The reason the treatment is best gotten in France is to be also in this letter.
- A letter of invitation from the medical institution in France willing to admit the applicant is required.
- The letter should state the proposed length of treatment, medical costs, and date of appointment.
- The applicant is to provide proof of payment of medical fees.
- A letter of guarantee from the applicant assuring that he/she has the capacity to cope with the extra medical costs is to be provided.
- A certificate from the national medical authority in Zambia for their incapacity to offer the appropriate medical treatment for the applicant’s condition is required.
- If the applicant is a minor, the original copy of their birth certificate should be provided.
- Also, a letter of consent signed by both parents is to be submitted.
- Registration certificate of the patient in the national list of organ transplants issued by the medical and surgical team performing the transplant, if necessary, is to be provided.
- This visa does not allow you to work or enroll in any of France’s academic institutions.
- If the treatment can not be gotten within the 90 days duration, evidence of this is to be provided and the visa extended.
France Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is for foreign students who have been accepted into any of the academic institutions in France, students on student exchange programs or internships or students who are on transfer from an institution in Zambia.
- Applicants who are traveling for internship programmes are to provide a letter from the company/institution in France that they will be running their internship programme.
- Applicants who have not been granted admission into any institution in France will not be granted this visa.
- A letter of acceptance from the institution the applicant has been accepted to, written on the institution’s letterhead is to be provided.
- Certificates and transcripts obtained from schools previously attended by the applicant in and out of Zambia are to be provided.
- If the applicant is below the age of 18 years, the original copy of their birth certificate carrying both names of the parents should be provided.
- If the minors will be traveling without either of their parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents is required.
- International students in France are permitted to work paid jobs 964 hours yearly as long as they have a valid residency permit.
- The student visa can be extended to cover the duration of the applicant’s study program.
- Proof of sustenance of the applicant throughout their entire stay in France is to be submitted.
France Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to foreigners who are traveling to France for tourism, visiting family and friends.
- You are also allowed to attend events and festivals while in France.
- Applicants who wish to visit a friend or relative are to provide an invitation letter from the host.
- The letter should carry the valid phone number and home address of the host.
- Those visiting France on this tourist visa are not allowed to work or study during their time in the country.
- If the applicant of this visa is employed, a letter from the applicant’s employer is to be provided.
- The letter should introduce the applicant and state the duration of the applicant’s visit.
- The letter should also state the applicant’s job position and salary level.
- An original copy of the birth certificate of minors is to be provided for the visa application process.
