Tourist visa
- This visa is issued at the consular representing Cuba in Zimbabwe to citizens who want to go to Cuba for tourism and leisure.
- The Cuba tourist visa is also issued as a tourist card.
- The tourist Card is a single-entry visa that allows travelers to enter Cuba for touristic purposes.
- This card/visa allows a maximum stay of 30 days starting on the date of entry.
- The Tourist Card is valid is non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Once you have arrived in Cuba, the Cuba Tourist Card must be stamped on both sections at the back of the visa.
- The information on the visa must coincide with that in the passport.
- In the case where many travelers are going together, each applicant must present a copy of their travel insurance for the entire trip.
- If you are traveling with minors, they must have their tourist cards even if they are traveling under their parents' passport(s).
Business visa
- This is the visa type for those who are in Cuba for business purposes.
- These people can attend business meetings, meet up with business partners and also sign business contracts.
- You are not allowed to take up paid work during the duration of your stay in the country.
- A letter of invitation is required from the company you are having a business dealing with.
- You would also need to submit a Certificate of employment from your current employer.
- A letter from your employer in Zimbabwe confirming your period of leave and stating the purpose of your visit to Cuba is also needed.
- For independent or self-sponsored business visa applicants, a document showing the authenticity of their business would be requested.
- This visa is not meant for tourism purposes.
