Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Chilean Visa.
- A fully completed Chile Visa application form.

Chile Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- A Chilean work visa is for expats who intend to work with a company in Chile.
- You are expected to have a permit is valid for two years although it depends on the contract between the employer and employee.
- The work permit is usually tied to an offer employment and an official work contract.
- Work permits are extended at the discretion of the Chilean authorities.

- A medical report from your doctor in Cameroon to prove you are free of any diseases.
- The contracting company must provide a VAT payment corresponding to the last three months and the workers’ forecast from the corresponding time.
- Applicants who don’t have the required qualifications would be denied approval of their visa.

Chile Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Cameroonians who intend to study in Chile are granted a student visa to study as a regular student in Chile.
- The student visa "visa de Estudiante" is valid for a maximum of one year. The holders of a student visa are to stay in Chile for a maximum period of one year.
- For scholarship holders, the student visa is valid throughout the duration of the scholarship.
- But for students in language programmes or who plan on studying for less than six months, they are expected to apply for a residence visa too.
- Student visas can be applied for either at the Immigration Department of the Ministry of foreign affairs or at a Chilean embassy before your departure.
- The Chilean student visa is renewable, can be renewed within Chile. Before the expiration of your visa, you are expected to apply for a renewal.
- A letter of acceptance from the institution which you have been offered admission should be submitted. The letter should state the course you will be studying and the duration of the study.
- A report of your criminal record should be provided which should serve as evidence for your no criminal background.
- The intending students are to submit a student visa application written in English typed and not handwritten.
- Applicants under the age of 18 years are to provide the unabridged original copy of their birth certificate. If you are travelling with one or none of your parents, a notarized consent signed by both your parents is required.
- As a Chilean Student, you are allowed to work part-time when school is in session, but full-time when school is on break.
- The processing time of a student visa usually takes 7 days.
- A proof of your enrollment to a Chilean University. This is to show that you were offered admission to study in Chile.

- A health certificate that proves you are in good health and fit to take a full-time course in a Chilean university.
Chile Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Chile tourist visa is a visa meant for Cameroonians travelling to Chile for recreational purposes, study, family and other similar purposes, without the aim of immigrating in Chad.
- Those who wish to apply for a Chilean Tourist Visa should apply through the Chile Consulate.
- A tourist visa has to be sponsored. The applicant will need to provide a letter of invitation from the host or sponsor stating their contact details and address of residence.
- The Chilean visa can’t be issued to Cameroonians on arrival.
- You will be required to submit passport valid for six months. Only the photo pages are needed. If your passport will expire soon, you are to renew before applying.
- With a tourist visa, Cameroonians can't obtain permanent residence.
- The police report which serves evidence indicating you have no criminal record or have convicted of any crime is to be provided during visa processing.
- A certificate of employment including payment receipts valid for the last three months will be required.
- Applicants are expected to provide the Chile embassy with a cover letter which introduces them, what they do, who they are, why they are visiting Chile. If they have any relative in Chile, they are to indicate that too in the letter.
- An Original certificate vaccination for yellow fever has to be submitted alongside other documents during the application process.
- The Chile tourist visa allows you to study courses with a short period duration. So if the holder of a tourist visa wants to study full-time in Chile he/she would need to apply directly for a study visa.
- The Chile Tourist visa enables you to work but you will have to provide evidence of your financial capability.
- If you exceed the duration of your tourist visa then you will have to pay a fine before exit is granted.
- The Chilean tourist visa processing take 14 days.
- The validity of a Chilean Tourist Visa is 90 days.
- The tourist visa is extendable for another 90 days upon request during the duration of the stay in Chile.
- Applicants who wish to obtain a tourist visa have to provide the embassy with a contagious disease clearance certificate. The certificate needs to be signed by a recognized Medical Practitioner and dated within 30 days prior to your application date. The certificate has to indicate you are free from any contagious disease.
- Holders of this visa type cannot be remunerated for any activities you wish to engage in or services they render while in Spain.
- Minors are meant to submit an unabridged original copy of your birth certificate should be submitted. You are also required to have a letter of consent signed by both your parents if you are traveling alone.
- Diplomats or officials are not allowed to gain entry with their diplomat passports if they are visiting for tourism purposes. They are required to obtain a tourist visa.
- With a tourist visa, foreigners can seek employment. If when they gain employment, they are expected to leave Chile.
