Cameroonian cuisine is characterized by the mix of bland starchy foods and spicy hot sauces or soups that is commonplace in West Africa. Fried or roasted fish and meat on skewers are common foods. In the north, staple foods are corn, millet, and peanuts. Cameroon's national dish is Ndole (stewed nuts, "ndoleh" which is a specie of bitter leaves indigenous to West Africa and it is usually garnished with fish, beef, shrimp and prawns and then the soup is eaten with plantain or cassava).

• Waza National Park: This is the most famous of Cameroon's seven national parks. It is a lush park featuring elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes and quite a variety of bird life as well as some of the richest flora and fauna in Africa.
• Mount Fako: Mount Fako is the famous Mount Cameroon of Africa. It is an active volcano that stands over 4095 metres high making it the tallest mountain in West Africa and the fourth most prominent peak in Africa. The mountain is quite the natural spectacle.
• Yaounde: Generally, West Africa is not known for its particularly beautiful cities and this is what makes Yaounde stand out. Being the Capital of Cameroon, the city is neat, safe and very well planned out over seven hills. Between buildings in Yaounde are lush, well kept greenery making it appear like a huge garden. Yaounde is also a central location in Cameroon making it a perfect spot from which to explore the rest of the nation.
• Kribi: This is the "Home of Paradise" in Cameroon. Kribi beaches are stunning with white sands, blue sea, and impeccably cooked fresh fish served by any of the several restaurants and hotels lining the seafront.
