Basic Travel Requirements for Cameroonians visiting Italy

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Italian Visa.


  • An Original Cameroonian passport which is valid for 6 months from the intended date of exit from the country. The passport should have two blank pages for a stamp and to affix the visa.
  • A duly completed visa application form. The application form should be signed and stamped where necessary.
  • Two identical passport-sized photographs taken with a white background which follows the visa application specification(35mmx45mm). The photograph must not be older than 6 months from the time of application.
  • Original copies of  your bank statement for the last three months prior to the date of application for the visa. This is proof that you have sufficient funds to cater for yourself while you are in the country.
  • A valid  travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
  • A copy of  hotel reservation for the duration of your stay in France.
  • Return or onward  flight ticket is to be submitted. 
  • A copy of travel itinerary.
