Basic Travel Requirements for Cameroonians visiting Morocco

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Moroccan Visa.

  • A Cameroonian passport valid for at least 6 months past the expected departure date
  • A fully completed and signed visa application form.
  • The parents/legal guardians have to sign the form if the applicant is a minor.
  • Four identical passport-size photographs (4.5 x 3.5 cm). 
  • The travel document must be completely provided.
  • Proof of financial capability.
  • Proof of accommodation/hotel reservations.
  • A  return flight ticket is required. 
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to the home country.
  • A police report showing the traveller does not have a criminal record.
  • Medical insurance that covers the duration of stay.
  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
  • Applicants are to provide proof of the paid visa application fee.

General Requirements for Morocco Visa

  • A Cameroonian passport valid for at least 6 months past the expected departure date

Morocco Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Cameroonians with a  Morocco tourist visa can visit Morocco for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation and relaxation.
  • Morocco Tourist visa is subdivided into: 
                - Single-entry visa 
                - Multiple-entry visa
  • You are expected to have a passport with at least six-month validity.
  • Holders of a Tourist Visa can visit their friends and family living in the country.
  • The tourist visa is issued for a period of up to 90 days.
  • The visa is not extendable. The traveller can only stay for more than 90 days in Morocco with a resident permit. 
  • When you overstay your visa without having an extension of stay, you will need to appear before a judge prior to departing Morocco.
  • Applicants are to show proof of confirmed hotel reservations if they are not staying with a host in Morocco. 
  • Obtaining a visa does not guarantee you entry into Morocco. The Immigration Officer at the port of entry may refuse entry to any person if he considers that such a person is unable to fulfil the immigration requirements or that such person's presence in Morocco would be contrary to national interests or security.
  • An Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) can be obtained instead of appearing physically at the embassy for a tourist visa, but this option is not available to all nationals. Only nationals from Guinea, Congo and Mali can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization.
  •  You will need to provide a flight booking and travel itinerary that covers the entire duration of your stay in Morocco. 
  • You are required to provide a copy of your round trip or tour ticket during application.
  • As a Cameroonian applying for a Moroccan tourist visa, you are expected to provide a  bank statement of not more than four weeks old. This will prove that you are capable of supporting yourself financially during your stay in Morocco.  
  • Holders of this type of visa are not allowed to take up any course of study whether full or part-time.
  • Employed applicants have to provide a letter from their employer in Cameroon.  The letter should state the duration of stay and that your employer is aware of your leave.
  • A proof of your travel insurance that covers the entire period of your trip to Morocco is one of the requirements for the visa processing. 
  • Minors are required to present the original copy of their birth certificate. Minors who are travelling without their parents or with one of their parents are required to have a letter of consent signed by both their parents.
  • You must provide a document that proves your family ties to your home country and to show you plan to return after your visa expires. 
  • Receipt of paid visa application fees should be provided.
  • Cameroonians are not allowed take payment for any work rendered.

Morocco Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Those who intend to travel to Morocco for business purposes are eligible for this type of visa. 
  • Holders of a Moroccan visa can negotiate and sign business contracts during the duration of their stay in the country.
  • The visa application form should be filled in capital letter. Other documents include a passport with a  six months validity from entry date, two passport-sized colour photograph with a white background, a copy of the plane tickets and a confirmed hotel reservation.
  •  Cameroonians who visit Morocco with the business visa can attend conferences, trade fairs, and business summits.
  •  An employment letter is written with the company’s letterhead introducing the applicant, his/her position in the company and the purpose of visit to Morocco should be presented during the visa process.
  • An official invitation letter from the company in Morocco should be provided. The company’s address, the reason for your visit and the duration of your stay should be clearly stated.
  • The inviting company has to provide its certificate of business registration of the company in Morocco. 
  • A copy of your legal status in Cameroon is required.
  • The invitation letter should state if the company you are meeting with will be responsible for taking care of your expenses.
  • If you have been in business with the same company previously, proof of this should be presented during the visa application process.
  • Cameroonians should have proof that they have the incentive of returning to their country at the expiry of their visa.
  • Like the tourist visa, applicants can either apply for the single-entry or multiple-entry business visa.
