Turkey Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The turkey business visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of meeting up with their business partners to develop and maintain working relationships that are eligible for this visa.
  • During any of the business meetings with your partners, you can sign and negotiate business contracts with your partner companies.
  • You are allowed to attend business seminars, conferences, and trade fairs relating to your profession.
  • You are to provide an official invitation letter from the inviting company in Turkey. The letter should be printed on the company’s letterhead and signed by the authorized signatory of the company.
  • All documents to be submitted must be original and certified copies.
  • You are expected to exit the country on or before the visa expires.
  • The letter from the inviting company must state the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the business visit.
  • The business letter must also state who will be taking responsibility for the applicant’s expenses in the country.
  • If you are employed, a letter from your employer printed on the company’s letterhead is required. The letter should introduce the applicant, state the applicant’s job position, and salary level.
  • Proof of previous business relations between the inviting company and the sponsoring company should be provided.
  • Applicants of this visa are prohibited from being gainfully employed while they are in the country.
  • Proof of payment of paid visa application fee is required.
  • The residence permit of the foreigners will be canceled if they stay outside Turkey for longer than 120 days in total during the last year.
  • It is not possible for foreigners holding two passports to stay in Turkey for 90 days each with their two different passports within the last 180 days.
  • In order to avoid inconveniences that may be caused by delays in processing, it is recommended to apply for visas at least one month in advance before the planned travel.

Turkey Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is for Congolese who want to visit Turkey for tourism purposes, sightseeing or to visit family and friends.
  • You are to provide a letter of invitation from your host in Portugal. 
  • The letter should contain the home address and telephone number of the host, as well as a valid means of identification of the host.
  • If the host is not a citizen, they are to provide their residence permit.
  • Applicants who are employed should provide a certificate of employment from their employer.
  • The certificate should include their job position, length of employment, and their salary level.
  • Minors applying for this visa should ensure that they are in possession of the original and a copy of their birth certificate.
  • They are also to provide a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor.
  • You can attend festivals and events that are of interest to you.
  • Non-Congolese should ensure that they possess a copy of their Tanzanian residence permit.
  •  The length of stay provided by visa or visa exemption cannot exceed 90 days within every 180 days. The regulation of 90 days of stay within the last 180 days is binding for all foreigners that will travel to Turkey.
  • You are advised to exit the country on or before your visa expires.
  • If the inviting side is an organization or a company, a tax registration certificate of the organization will be required. 
  • The applicant is required to have sufficient and/or regular remunerations.
  • Proof of accommodation for the period of stay in Turkey.
  • You are not eligible to take up jobs during your stay in Turkey.

Turkey Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

    • The turkey work visa is for foreigners who have been offered employment by a company in Turkey.
    • Applicants of this visa should ensure they have been offered employment in the company before they are issued this visa.
    • Your passport, visa application form and a letter from your employer are the necessary documents for your application
    • Foreigners lay their applications for a work permit through consular offices in the country of their residence or nationality.
    • To work in Turkey, you must apply to the nearest Turkish mission to obtain a work permit and visa.
    • Visa fees are not refundable in cases where applications are rejected.
    • It is not possible for foreigners holding two passports to stay in Turkey for 90 days each with their two different passports within the last 180 days.
    • A certificate of employment printed on the company’s letterhead and signed by the employer is required. The letter must contain the terms of the employment contract and the nature of the job the applicant will be doing.
    • The employer in Turkey must provide proof that there was no citizen of Turkey willing and available to work at the time you were offered this visa should be provided.
    • Applicants whose qualification does not correspond to the job they have been offered will be refused this visa.
    • Applicants are to provide a copy of their CV or Resume.
    • The documents to be submitted by the applicant must be translated into the English language if they were not originally issued in English.
    • Proof that you will not be paid below the minimum wage paid to other Turkey nationals.
    • All documents to be submitted must be original and certified copies.
    • Proof of accommodation for your duration of stay in Turkey should be provided.
