Azerbaijan Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Tourist Visa is issued to foreigners with the intention of traveling to Azerbaijan for tourism and leisure purposes.
  • Applicants of this visa may have been invited to Azerbaijan by their friends or relatives who hold permanent residence in the country.
  • If your purpose of traveling to the country is for visitation, a letter of invitation from your host is required. The letter must state the relationship between you and your host and must contain valid contact information of your host.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt should be made available. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and should state the applicant’s job position, salary level, and the duration of the trip.
  • All foreigners visiting Azerbaijan for a period more than 30 days must register their passports with the local passport registration authorities.
  • This visa can be issued for single, double, and multiple entries.
  • Foreigners in Azerbaijan are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment during their time in the country.
  • Holders of this visa are allowed to attend festivals and events taking place in the country.
  • Minors applying for this visa are required to present a copy of their birth certificate. A notarized consent signed by both their parents is also required if they are traveling with or none of their parents.

Azerbaijan Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreign nationals visiting Azerbaijan to maintain business relationships with their partners and engage in other business activities.
  • Business travelers are permitted to enter into negotiations with their partners during business meetings.
  • Trade fairs, conferences and business seminars relating to applicant’s profession can be attended.
  • An official letter of invitation from the inviting company in Azerbaijan is required. The letter should state the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the applicant’s visit.
  • The business letter must also state if the host company or the applicant’s company will be responsible for the applicant’s finances while in the country.
  • A copy of the company’s charter and state registration certificate is required.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer confirming awareness and allowance of business leave is required. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and signed by an authorized signatory of the company.
  • This visa does not permit foreign nationals to receive payments for the services they render while they are in the country.
  • This visa can be issued for single, double or multiple entries.

Azerbaijan Transit Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Transit Visa is for foreigners with the intention of transiting through Azerbaijan to their destination country.
  • Traveling from Egypt to Azerbaijan and back to Egypt is not regarded as transit.
  • Foreigners are required to be in possession of the visa and other entry permits of their destination country.
  • Confirmed flight ticket to the applicant’s destination country must be presented during the visa application.
  • This visa does not allow you to work or be enrolled in any of the academic institutions in the country.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, you are required to present the unabridged copy of your birth certificate carrying both names of your parent.
