Tourist visa
- Foreigners who have the intention of visiting Congo Brazzaville for the purpose of leisure and tourism are the eligible applicants of this visa.
- This visa is also applicable to foreign nationals who have been invited to the country by their friends and relatives.
- The original invitation letter from your host in the country is required if you have been invited to the country.
- The invitation letter must be addressed to “The Embassy of the Republic of Congo” and be stamped by the local Department of Immigration.
- The Tourist Visa allows foreigners to attend festivals and events that are of interest to them in the country.
- Minors applying for this visa should ensure they are in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling with one or none of their parents, a letter of consent signed by both their parents is required.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to engage in business activities during their time in the country.
- Applicants of this visa are required to be in possession of the International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever.
- Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.

- This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have the intention of visiting The Republic of Congo for business purposes.
- Applicants of this visa are allowed to sign and negotiate business contracts with their partners in the country.
- This visa allows you to attend festivals, conferences, and trade fairs relating to your profession.
- All applicants of this visa are required to present an official letter of invitation from their partners in the country. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and must state the duration and purpose of the trip.
- The business letter from the inviting company must state who will bear the cost of the applicant’s finances in the country.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt is required. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and the length of the applicant’s employment.
- Proof of previous business dealings between the host company and the applicant’s company must be provided, if any.
- All business travelers must have the International Certificate of Vaccination against yellow fever.
- Non-Egyptians must provide a copy of their residence permit for Egypt.
