Basic Travel Requirements for Egyptians visiting Kuwait

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Kuwaiti Visa.

  • Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
  • Correctly filled visa application form duly signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
  • Original copy of bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.

Kuwait Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of visiting Kuwait for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation purposes.
  • Foreigners who have been invited to the country by their friends or relatives are eligible to apply for this visa.
  • If you are visiting someone in the country, a letter of invitation from your host in the country is required. The letter must state the relationship between you and the host. Valid contact information of the host should be stated in the letter.
  • Egyptians in the country are allowed to attend festivals and events that are of interest to them.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt is required. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and be signed by an authorized signatory in the company.
  • If the applicant of this visa is a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required.
  • Non-Egyptians should ensure they are in possession of their residence permit for Egypt.
  • This visa does not allow you to engage in business activities.
  • Receipt of payment of visa application fee is required.

Kuwait Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Business Visa is issued to Egyptians who have the intention of traveling to Kuwait to engage in business activities.
  • During business meetings with your partners, you are allowed to negotiate and sign business contracts.
  • Foreign nationals are allowed to attend trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
  • An official letter of invitation from the inviting company in Kuwait should be provided. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and must state the nature of the business to be carried out.
  • The letter should state who will bear the costs of the applicant’s expenses while in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s Egypt should be provided. The letter must state the applicant’s job position, salary level, and the length of employment.
  • Proof of previous business dealings between the applicant’s company and the host company in Kuwait is required, if any.
  • Holders of this visa cannot receive payments for the services they render during their time in the country.
  • Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
  • You are required to leave the country on or before this visa expires.
