Basic Travel Requirements for Egyptians visiting Montenegro
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Montenegrin Visa.
- Egyptians are to submit the following documents with their visa application forms;
- A valid passport with a validity of at least 3 months
- One passport photograph 35x45 mm
- A letter of invitation by a legal entity, state authority in Montenegro or organizer of an international conference or event
- Proof of legal accommodation this could be either hotel bookings or a letter from a family or friend whose house you will be staying with a valid phone number, name and house address
- Proof of means for sustenance during your stay in Montenegro, as well as proof of means of returning to Egypt
- Proof of the means of travel and intention to return into the state where you come from or into a third state (a return aeroplane or other transportation ticket, a driving license)
- Proof of health insurance
- Proof that the consular fee has been paid

Montenegro Short-stay Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is for tourists, business, personal or other purposes.
- This visa is valid for one or more entries into Montenegro
- This visa is valid for 6 months but you can only stay for a period of 90 days at a time starting from your first date of entry into the country.
- The short-stay visa type consists of both single entry visa and multiple entry visa
- The single entry visa only allows you to enter Montenegro only once with that particular visa until you have renewed it then you will be allowed a re-entry
- If you want to be able to enter Montenegro more than once with the same visa, you have to purchase the multiple entry visa which allows you to enter Montenegro at any point in time you want to enter within the validity period
- The multiple-entry visa is valid for up to a year
- The multiple entry visa is sometimes issued with a 5-year validity in cases seeming exceptional
- This short-stay visa can also be issued on both individually and collectively
- If you are a short-stay collective visa holder, your visa type holds a visa validity of a maximum of 30 days
- You are to leave Montenegro on or before the expiry of your visa

- This visa is valid for one or more entries into Montenegro. It is for Egyptians planning to stay for between 90 days and six months in a one year period.
- This visa will be issued to you if you are:
- Intending to stay in Montenegro for business, provide advisory expert activities as agreed by the agreement on business and technical cooperation, on long-term production cooperation, and on transfer and foreign investments.
- Coming to Montenegro to serve as a member of a foreign diplomatic and consular representative office to Montenegro or an international organization accredited to Montenegro, you are a member of an economic and cultural representative office, as well as to the members of his/her family, i.e. members of his/her household holding diplomatic or official passports.
- This Long Stay Visa is also issued to those planning to stay in Montenegro longer than 90 days for one of the following;
- Employment and work
- Students who have been given admission in an institution in Montenegro
- Students participation in student exchange programmes or youth programmes
- Professional training and acquisition of practical skills
- Scientific-research work
- Medical treatment
- Family reunification
- Humanitarian reasons
- Proof of vaccination against Rabies and Hepatitis B and A
- Parents of minors are to complete the application forms of their children and accompany them to the embassy
- To apply for this long-stay visa for the purpose of work, you must already have the job contract and attach a letter from your employer

- This visa is issued to foreigners for one or more transits through the airport international transit area and between international flights
- You are not granted entry into the territory of Montenegro.
