Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Syrian Visa.

  • Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.

Syria Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa type is issued to foreigners traveling to Syria for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.
  • If you have the intention of visiting friends or relatives in Syria, you can also apply for this visa.
  • You should ensure you are in possession of a letter of invitation from your host if you are visiting someone in Syria. The letter must include the valid contact information of your host.
  • Applicants of this visa who are employed should submit a letter from their employers. This letter should confirm employment and allowance of leave.
  • During your time in the country, you are allowed to attend festivals and events.
  • Minors applying for are required to have the unabridged original copy of their birth certificate. If they are traveling with one or none of their parents, a letter of consent signed by both their parents is required.
