Basic Travel Requirements for Egyptians visiting Turkey

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Turkish Visa.


  • Passport with a validity of at least three months from the intended date of exiting the country. The passport must have at least two blank pages.
  • Correctly completed visa application form which is signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
  • Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof that the applicant is capable of taking care of him/her self while in the country.
  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.
  • Proof of civil status.
