The capital city of Kuwait is Kuwait city, and is also considered to be the economic, political and cultural centre in Kuwait. The best time to visit Kuwait is usually from November to Mid-March, during this period the temperature in the country drops making it the best time for outdoor exploration and best time to visit the beaches in the country.

The climate in Kuwait is arid, summer is hot, dry and dusty and lasts from June to Mid-September, autumn lasts from October to November, winter lasts from December to Mid-March, spring usually starts from March and lasts to May.

Kuwait culture is based on Arabic cultures, practices, and is also greatly influenced by Islamic religion which is the major religion practiced in Kuwait, but there are also small groups of Christianity, Buddhist, and Hindu.

Food in Kuwait is a combination of Arabian, Indian, Persian, and Mediterranean cuisines. Some of the most common food in Kuwait is the Machboos which is a rice-based meal prepared with basmati rice and seasoned with different spices, and topped with chicken or mutton.

The official language in Kuwait is Arabic, but English is not uncommon and other languages like Urdu, Farsi.

Kuwait is known to be very accessible to both tourist and residents, you could get around by Public transport which includes bus rides, or you could choose to go by taxi rides which are cheap and affordable, and car rentals are available whereas driving on your own is not advised for a tourist or visitor as road users tend to be very aggressive. Kuwait is relatively safe for all tourists, but it is advised to respect and obey all the local laws and cultures to stay out of trouble.

Kuwait is home to wonderful festivals and events, and some of these includes: The Hala Festival - This is a month long festival that celebrated the arrival of spring, it is held every February; National Day - This is held on the 25th of February and entails the creation of Kuwait as a country in 1961; Camel racing festival - which is held from November to April at Al-Atraf Camel Racing Club on a track 7 km west of Al-Jahra; Ramadan - This is one of the most important celebration in Kuwait, as it is a Muslim nation Ramadan is celebrated nationally in August/September; Eid el-Fitr - which marks the end of the ramadan and many other Islamic celebrations.

• Kuwait National Museum - The museum was once stripped and burnt by Iraq invaders, it houses the Al Sabah collection, which is the most comprehensive collections of Islamic arts in the world. It is located close to the National Assembly, and comprises of four buildings and a planetarium.

• The Seif Palace - This palace is known to be the home of the royal family and was designed to for the Emir dynasty, although the palace was made to be home to the royal family they are said to reside in the Bayan palace, and this Seif palace is mostly used as a court if there are special celebrations and events, or if the Bayan Palace is not available.

• Kuwait Musical Fountain - This is known to be one of the biggest tourist attractions in Kuwait. It is located on the first ring road in Kuwait city, in the green belt area of the country. The water fountain lights changes in rhythm with the Kuwait music tunes and this offers a spectacular sight for tourists, the fountain was damaged during the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait, but it has been repaired and restored to its former glory and beauty.

• Green Island - This is one of the first artificial island created in the Gulf region. And it offers a wide range of entertainment amenities which you can enjoy.

• The Liberation Tower - This represents liberation of Kuwait, it is known to be one of the tallest telecommunication towers in the world. The tower was named after the nation was liberated from the multinational coalition which happened as a result of the seven months of Iraqi occupation during the Gulf War.
